SAFESIDE PREVENTION CONTINUES PARTNERSHIP WITH NSW HEALTH TO ADVANCE SUICIDE PREVENTION INITIATIVE

SafeSide Prevention is pleased to continue its partnership with the New South Wales (NSW) Ministry of Health—Mental Health Branch to support the ongoing implementation of the ‘Towards Zero Suicide in Care’ initiative for the 2023/24 financial year.

The ‘Towards Zero Suicide in Care’ initiative aligns with the Strategic Framework for Suicide Prevention in New South Wales 2022-2027 and aims to deliver evidence-based training in suicide prevention to the NSW Health workforce.

"We are honoured to continue our collaboration with the New South Wales Ministry of Health—Mental Health Branch to advance the 'Towards Zero Suicide in Care' initiative," said Professor Anthony Pisani, Founder of SafeSide Prevention. Our evidence-based SafeSide InPlace® Learning program has been adopted by the Local Health Districts (LHDs) and has made a positive impact. We look forward to further strengthening suicide prevention efforts in healthcare settings across NSW.”
