FAQs for Participants of a SafeSide Hosted InPlace Workshop
We are thrilled you are joining us for a Safeside Hosted InPlace Workshop. Here are a few FAQs:
What should I expect?
During your workshop, the SafeSide team will play teaching and demonstration videos that cover key suicide prevention skills. In each module, group discussions will help you reflect on how the concepts covered will work in your current role. You can also use the chat to share your thoughts and questions.
To get the most out of this workshop, plan to keep your camera on, come off mute and chat with us and your fellow participants.
When you join, rename yourself to reflect how you’d like to be referred to during our time together. Here’s how ⬇️
Will the session be recorded?
We do not record our workshops. You can view all the video modules in your SafeSide Account once you submit your post-evaluation.
I had trouble with an evaluation or my SafeSide Account. Help!

Will I receive a completion certificate?
Yes! It will be posted to your SafeSide Account within 24 hours of submitting your post-evaluation.
Can I receive Continuing Education Credits (CEUs)?
SafeSide does not provide CEUs. If you plan to request CEUs from a licensing or professional organization, the workshop description with learning objectives and your Completion Certificate may be helpful.
I have questions that we didn’t get to in the workshop. Where can I ask them? Each month SafeSide hosts live Office Hours where members can ask questions and share their experiences. You’ll receive those invitations by email or visit our events page in the Community of Practice.
You can also post your questions in the Community of Practice and receive a response from SafeSide and others using SafeSide worldwide.
