Which browsers does SafeSide support?
SafeSide Accounts and the Community of Practice work well on all modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and their mobile versions.
Due to security concerns and dated infrastructure, we do not support Internet Explorer (IE). Microsoft replaced IE with Microsoft Edge in January 2015 and is no longer developing it. In 2020, Microsoft’s chief of security recommended against using the browser. The Internet Archive and other authorities have also removed support for IE.
IE users can access most of our services, but we cannot guarantee a smooth experience. We understand that some of our subscribers have older systems and fewer choices for browsers. We encourage you to contact your system administrators to see if you can gain access to one of the secure, modern browsers listed above. In the meantime, if you are locked into IE and have trouble accessing anything on the SafeSide platform, please contact us and we will troubleshoot with you.
