Wellness Together Conference 2024 Resources

SafeSide Prevention was thrilled to host a booth at the Wellness Together 2024 Conference.

Youth services teams have used the SafeSide Program to establish an evidence-based, common language and approach to suicide prevention. This has strengthened confidence in suicide prevention skills for clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring that youth at risk can go to any adult in that setting and they will be ready to ask about suicide, understand what they're going through, and respond.

Our team loved meeting you, and we are pleased to provide the below resources to view in your own time:

  1. Downloadable handouts summarising SafeSide’s work, our programs and evidence.
  2. Video excerpts of SafeSide’s educational programs and overview videos.

Learn about the SafeSide Programs

The SafeSide Program - Youth Services is designed for clinical and non-clinical roles, working with children and youth up to age 25. Watch the introduction to the program.

Learn how Office Hours, which are monthly video chats hosted by SafeSide, provides a place for members to ask questions and share their experiences with staff, and others who are using the SafeSide Framework around the world.

This four-minute module is an example of one of the resources SafeSide members have access to in our Community of Practice.

The Connect Program

Developed and tested with the US Air Force, the Connect Program is adaptable for other military and police organisations. Evaluations are underway in: healthcare, religious communities, and youth sports. The Connect Program aims to enhance protective factors within natural organisational groups to promote health across an entire population or organisation.
